 for a fun and engaging way to spend the summer! Children will spend time with our highly trained wildlife staff, participating in a wide variety of bird and nature based activities. Activities may include hands-on raptor interactions, flight demonstrations, bird watching and identification skill building, bird care overview, and nature outings.

Our summer camps are an excellent way to teach children about these wonderful birds of prey, and how to take an active role in encouraging wildlife conservation.

The Raptor Camp is intended for children 8 - 12 years old. Children must be 8 years old before December 31st to register. $50 discount for 4-day camp August 5-8 ($275 total)

Raptor Camp

, this five day camp builds on the concepts taught in Raptor Camp, and offers a deeper understanding of the training and handling of our wonderful birds.

The Intermediate Raptor Camp is intended for children 8 - 12 years old. Completion of Raptor Camp is a pre-requisite. Children must be 8 years old by December 31st to register.

Spend an incredible week with The Raptors!

 Learn about these fantastic birds, and how we work with, train, and care for them, and leave with a lasting respect for how important a role raptors play in our ecosystems. You’ll even get to put on your own flying demonstration!

The Teen Camp is intended for youth aged 13 - 17. Youth must be 13 by December 31st to register. No camp experience required.

Reservations are not required. For any hands-on experience, spaces are limited so reserving ahead of time is strongly recommended.

Yes, re-entry is allowed for the date of ticket purchase. Please stop by the gift shop for a stamp that will allow re-entry.

No, for the comfort and safety of our birds dogs are not permitted in the facility. We strongly encourage you to leave your dog at home. Guests with service animals, please contact us to arrange accomodations.

Yes! We encourage you to take as many photos as you would like. Please refrain from flash photography.

Cameras

No. We do offer some light snacks in our gift shop, but the centre does not have any meal options. You are more than welcome to bring your own food to the centre and enjoy it at one of our picnic benches.

You must be eight years or older to participate in our CLOSER or CLOSEST admission packages, or any other hands-on experience. We do offer a Kids Encounter for younger guests age 4-7. (Pre-booking not required, please inquire with the gift shop).

Injured bird

All common personal belongings are permitted, including coolers, backpacks, strollers, wagons, outside food and drink (with the exception of alcohol) and cameras. All guests must wear a shirt and shoes at all time.

Yes, our facility is wheelchair accessible, as long as your personal mobility aids are equipped to deal with outdoor surfaces. While some of our paths are paved, the majority are hard-packed earth or packed gravel.

No, parking is free of charge. During the summer months, the parking lot can get busy so we strongly recommend carpooling whenever possible.
