Access to Herd Rd. from the highway is unavailable for the summer due to construction. Please allow yourself extra time (15+ minutes) to reach our facility. We recommend visiting via Trunk Rd -> Lakes Rd

Reservations are not required. For any hands-on experience, spaces are limited so reserving ahead of time is strongly recommended.

Yes, re-entry is allowed for the date of ticket purchase. Please stop by the gift shop for a stamp that will allow re-entry.

No, for the comfort and safety of our birds dogs are not permitted in the facility. We strongly encourage you to leave your dog at home. Guests with service animals, please contact us to arrange accomodations.

Yes! We encourage you to take as many photos as you would like. Please refrain from flash photography.

Cameras

No. We do offer some light snacks in our gift shop, but the centre does not have any meal options. You are more than welcome to bring your own food to the centre and enjoy it at one of our picnic benches.

You must be eight years or older to participate in our CLOSER or CLOSEST admission packages, or any other hands-on experience. We do offer a Kids Encounter for younger guests age 4-7. (Pre-booking not required, please inquire with the gift shop).

All common personal belongings are permitted, including coolers, backpacks, strollers, wagons, outside food and drink (with the exception of alcohol) and cameras. All guests must wear a shirt and shoes at all time.

Yes, our facility is wheelchair accessible, as long as your personal mobility aids are equipped to deal with outdoor surfaces. While some of our paths are paved, the majority are hard-packed earth or packed gravel.

No, parking is free of charge. During the summer months, the parking lot can get busy so we strongly recommend carpooling whenever possible.

 Our birds can help celebrate your big day with you, be your “ring bearers” and fly in the rings during your ceremony, and stay after for photos with the wedding party.

If you’re looking for something for the reception afterwards, we can stay and amaze your guests with a flying demonstration as well.
