Our team of professionals are highly knowledgeable, and capable of expertly training all aspects of wildlife management. We offer a wide variety of training, covering everything from wildlife management theory to the practical application of techniques. All airport training is compliant with Transport Canada’s Canadian Aviation Regulations. We also provide raptor specific training, including trapping, banding, safe handling, and rehabbing procedures.

Airport Wildlife Management Course

The Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) 302.307 requires all personnel providing wildlife management at Canadian airports to receive training at least once every five years. Our course covers all the mandatory knowledge requirements mandated by CARs 322.307 ‘Training’, further supplemented by industry best practices.

Wildlife Management Training

Online, on site or in-class instruction on best practices for wildlife management techniques and tools. Training focuses on tool deployment and safety, animal behaviour, management theory, and best practices to maximize efficacy while minimizing habituation from target species.

Raptor Training

We provide all manner of raptor-related training:

  • Safe raptor handling, for bird welfare and handler safety.
  • Raptor trapping training, including best practices and trap selection.
  • Banding and tagging procedures
  • Rehab techniques, including injury assessment and emergency first aid.
